Sir Christopher Frayling

Sir Christopher Frayling is an educationalist, writer and one of Britain’s best-known advocates of education in the arts. He was recently installed as the first chancellor of Arts University Bournemouth. In this short film he discusses radios, rationing and why 1946 was the year that bought art to the people.

“It dominated the room that it was in, in the way that a television does today, and you trusted it.”
