The Plastic House

Using recycled plastic waste, Affresol developed a structural building material called the Thermo Poly Rock (TPR) that can be used to build a plastic house. Plastic wastes from homes and factories that crowd into landfills can be converted into TPR using the company’s patented process. The end result is a waterproof, rot resistant, insulating, and fire retardant concrete. This promising technology can build low carbon houses that last up to 60 years, at the end of which the materials can be recycled again.
