The Plastic Hippo Water Roller

In Africa, women have to collect water for their homes in 5 gallon buckets that they carry to and from the water source. The fastest way to bring these buckets home is to carry them on one’s head, placing a heavy load on the neck and spine over a long distance. The Hippo Water Roller is 24 gallon container that can be rolled and pushed along on the ground, greatly increasing efficiency and minimizing physical injury. The plastic’s durability is an added bonus for the people using the Hippo. This is one of the instances that a plastic device can literally make a change in people’s lives.
